1.) Family Background

He is from Hyderabad and His father is a former IAS officer who served as Special Seceratry and as a member of planning commission .

2.)Education and Qualification

He , after completing his school from HPS (Hyderabad Public School ) , went to Manipal Institute of Technology to study ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) . After graduation from Manipal , He moved  to US to purse Masters in Computer Science  from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Then he pursed  MBA from University of Chicago's Booth School of Business.



3.) Job in Microsoft

He joined Microsoft in 1992. He worked in Bing division for many years and then  He played a key  role in bringing up some of Microsoft's popular technologies like database and Windows server and developer tools, to the cloud in the form of Azure.
Nadella helped Microsoft to bring out the enterprise focused cloud version of Microsoft Office,  as Office 365 and Office 365 is growing too fast.

4.) Before Microsoft

Before coming to Microsoft , Nadella worked with Sun Microsystems as a member of its technology staff.

In 1992, Nadella married Anupama, daughter of his father's  IAS batch-mate, K.R. Venugopal. 
The marriage was arranged in the usual Indian way by their parents. They have three children (a son and two daughters) and They currently live in Bellevue, Washington.



6.)Salary Rank

According to Equilar '200 highest-paid CEO rankings,' Satya Nadella is the highest paid tech CEO in the USA. The Microsoft CEO ranks at No. 4 on the overall list with a yearly compensation of $84,308,755. This includes a base salary of $918,917, along with $3,600,000 in cash bonus and $12,729 in perks.

7.) Loves Cricket

In an interview with Hyderabad's Deccan Chronicle, he said that playing cricket taught him about team work and leadership. His favourite form of the game is test cricket.
